A driver has died after a single-vehicle crash at Pilliga.
Just after 12.20pm on Saturday 5 September, emergency services were called to Mission Lane following reports of a single-vehicle crash.
“Officers attached to Oxley Police District were told a 57-year-old man was suffering serious head injuries on the road before a rolled white ute was located nearby,” information from NSW Police Media read.
The man was treated by NSW paramedics before being airlifted to Tamworth Hospital, but he died at the hospital.
A crime scene was established and police began an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash and the death.
The vehicle was seized to be forensically examined.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
