Wee Waa High School students and staff celebrated Book Week in spectacular fashion, creating some impressive costumes inspired by their treasured stories and characters.
This year’s theme was Symphony of Stories, celebrating the way diverse voices, illustrations and tales come together to inspire a shared love of reading.
Throughout the week, students enjoyed a range of relaxing, reading-related activities.
The celebrations culminated at the end of the week when students and staff dressed as their favourite book characters.
Prizes for the best-dressed brought out a competitive streak, particularly among the enthusiastic staff.
