Parishioners at St Andrew’s Church in Wee Waa celebrated Migrant and Immigrant Sunday on 4 October, embracing the many cultures and backgrounds represented within the local community.

Parishioners were encouraged to wear traditional dress, while prayers and readings were presented in different languages throughout the Mass.

Following the service, everyone gathered for a special brunch, sharing food representing their countries of heritage and celebrating the cultures that make up the Wee Waa community.

It was a wonderful opportunity for parishioners to come together, share their traditions and celebrate the district’s diversity.
