Excellence in business celebrated at chamber gala awards dinner

The Narrabri Shire business community was placed in the spotlight with the Narrabri Chamber of Commerce’s annual gala business awards celebration. The Crossing Theatre auditorium was again the venue for the spectacular dinner evening. North West Ag and Wrecking was awarded top honours and named Business of the Year. Young Entrepreneur of the Year was presented to Brianna Brown, of T-Table, while Ellie Gett, of Barrakets Shop 2, was the runner-up.

Hot, dusty and action-packed day at Narrabri Dirt Bike Club

UK art historian Antony Penrose will be in Narrabri to present ArtsNational Narrabri’s last arts talk of the 2026 season, Lee Miller’s War, at The Crossing Theatre on Monday 19 October. Sister cities partnerin Big Pink Slug idea

Randwick City Council has initiated an idea of a ‘Big Pink Slug’ for Narrabri, with its councillors agreeing to assist in finding funding for what it sees as a tourist attraction. The eastern suburbs council, which is a sister city with Narrabri Shire, was presented with rubber pink slugs at a recent Australian Local Government Association conference.
