Big sale increase to 7200
7200 cattle were scanned in Gunnedah a big increase of 3800 against the short week last week. It was a fair quality yarding with large numbers of cows again. All major buyers were active as well as an increase of southern orders. Following the trend secondary cattle were overall cheaper while heavy quality cattle remained strong. Young cattle to the trade were limited. The steers made from 412c to 440c/kg while the heifers made from 290c to 465c/kg.
