Kids’ comedian – Mr Snotbottom, performed at The Crossing Theatre on Friday evening, May 8. The performance was organised by NDCAS and was a huge hit with the kids, who thoroughly enjoyed it.
Gumnut Cottage children were treated to storytime at the Narrabri Public Library on Wednesday morning. The children participated in National Simultaneous Storytime, an initiative of the Australian Library and Information Association, which was conducted locally through Narrabri Shire Council. On Monday, March 31 the Year 11 Advanced English class boarded the train, in the guise of a bus, to travel to Sydney. The object of this exercise in transportational endurance was to attend two presentations at Sydney University. After a night of virtuous sleep and mental preparation at the Central YHA, the class attended a performance an analysis of Richard III, a compulsory Shakespeare text for the HSC.
