Council responds to rates concerns

NARRABRI Shire Council has responded to community concerns over this financial year’s rates and annual charges, acknowledging feedback from residents including about the impact of increased costs on households. CWA medical grant invests in the future of rural healthcare

STUDENTS from across the region are being encouraged to apply for the 2026 CWA Barwon Group medical grant, a long-running initiative that has distributed more than $300,000 to local students pursuing health-related careers since 1998. A special visitor at Clive and Greta Richardson Gymkhana

WEE Waa and District Pony Club hosted the annual Clive and Greta Richardson Gymkhana recently, welcoming riders from across the Zone for a fantastic day. The weather turned on perfect conditions, but the big highlight was the attendance of local legend Clive Richardson, who made the trip from Narrabri with his son Scott to join the day. Educators celebrated across the shire

NATIONAL Out of School Hours (OOSH) Educators Day was celebrated last week, recognising their vital role in supporting children in before and after school care as well as vacation care during the school holidays. The theme this year was Valuing every OOSH educator, every day.
