Residents across the Namoi Gwydir region are being invited to have their say on a draft plan aimed at reducing the impact of bushfires over the next five years. The Namoi Gwydir Bush Fire Management Committee has placed its draft Bush Fire Risk Management Plan on public exhibition, giving the community an opportunity to provide feedback on proposed strategies to manage bushfire risks. Wee Waa High School’s Roley O’Shea attended The Arts Unit State Drama Camp, designed for talented year 9 and 10 students. The drama camp is an intensive residential performance program run in Collaroy on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Throughout the week, Roley collaborated with like-minded students from across the state, learning from experienced teachers, theatre practitioners and industry professionals in a supportive and creative environment.
