The Western Imperial Razorbacks are a force to be reckoned with in the 2018-19 Narrabri District Cricket Association first grade season.

Following a 99-run win against Crossroads Hotel on Saturday at Leitch Oval the Razorbacks moved even on points at the top of the table with both RSL and Tatts.

In the round eight match the Razorbacks batted first after winning the toss and made 9-188 from its 45 overs, before bowling Crossroads out for just 89 runs in the 26th over.

It was a dominant display by the Razorbacks bowlers as they defended their total with ease.

Ty Baker and skipper Justin Knight were rewarded with NDCA best and fairest points for their efforts with both bat and ball.

Baker picked up three and Knight scored two, while the remaining one went to Crossroads’ Mitch Clifton.

The Razorbacks have the bye this weekend which will see them finish the ninth round of the season in equal first at worst.
