“I’m incredibly happy for Trinity,” said principal Dinos Charalambous.

The HSC results are out and Narrabri High School’s Trinity Westman has topped the State in the subject of Human Services with an outstanding mark of 99.

She also scored a band 6 in Physics.

“I’m incredibly happy for Trinity,” said principal Dinos Charalambous.

“There are so many opportunities that our students have at Narrabri High School to excel and when they have that drive and work with our outstanding staff – the sky is the limit.”

Mr Charalambous congratulated the students, staff and their parents on the exceptional results and said there were a number of standout students.

Fariha Sadeque achieved two band 6 results in Business Studies and PDHPE. She achieved a band 6 in Maths last year, and received high band 5s in Chemistry and Advanced English.

Matt Nash achieved a band 6 in Mathematics 2Unit – he is actually in Year 11 and has been accelerated and Gwenieve Merten achieved band 6 in Music.

In total there were 31 band 5s scored by students, which Mr Charalambous said was the biggest number for many years. He said all the faculty subjects had at least one student who achieved a band 5 or 6.
