The Narrabri Stingrays Swimming Club adopted a new format for its 2018-19 Club Championships.

In previous years the Club Championships were run as a one-day event but this year they were held across four Monday evenings, the last of which was held on Monday, March 25.

On Friday, March 29, the Stingrays hosted their annual awards presentation.

This season’s major award winners are as follows:

Joanne Barnes swimmer of the year – Ella Tomlinson.

Therese Nairn most improved awards – Heath Collins (male) and Summer Fernance (female).

Development squad training award – Sofia Perovic-Games.

Blue training group training award – Summer Fernance.

Gold training group training award – Millie Collins.

Sportsmanship award – Elizabeth Caton.
