Three Karla’s Swim Team swimmers recently tested themselves against some of the state’s best when they competed at the 2019 NSW Junior State Age Championships which was held at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre last weekend.

13-year-old Harry Bennett competed in nine events, 12-year-old Rosie Ross competed in three events and 11-year-old Tayla Nott lined up in one event.

Karla’s Swim Team coach Karla Carruthers was impressed with the trio’s efforts.

“They all achieved their personal goals this season and were excited to attend a NSW State for the very first time,” Carruthers told The Courier.

“It is the biggest competition on the NSW swim calendar, it’s the best of the best.

“All three have worked very hard this season and should be very proud of their efforts and dedication.

“They have all made huge improvements in the last 12 months.”
