Jane Trindall feels on top of the world after being appointed to the role of observatory support officer at Narrabri’s CSIRO Astronomy and Space Science Australia National Telescope Facility.
“I really enjoy working at the CSIRO and hope to be working with the organisation for many years to come,” said Ms Trindall.
Ms Trindall is a busy mother of two and is proud to have recently completed a Certificate III in Business Administration at TAFE NSW Narrabri as an Indigenous trainee at the CSIRO facility.
It’s an opportunity that has not only led to further study but also an ongoing role with the organisation.
Ms Trindall said she enjoys the flexibility of being able to study both online and in the classroom.
“I have been able to learn a range of skills in administration, communication, customer service, accounting, work health and safety and Microsoft Office programs,” she said.
