The Narrabri Women’s Bowling Club ladies have won the 2019 Namoi District Pennants in Division Four for 2019.
They will now travel to Guyra for the regional playoffs in Division Three.
Narrabri was the state runner-up in Division Four in 2018 and was promoted to Division Three.
However, with no teams in the Namoi District in Division Three, Narrabri was forced to win Division Four to progress.
Narrabri played against Wee Waa on Sunday and had to win to gain the title.
Narrabri lost one of its matches but won the other, scoring an overall win by the closest of margins.
The team of Marie Redman, Cindy Neil, Val Falkiner and Rhonda Welchman won their game 22-12.
Sue Solomon, Kay Carolan, Helen Woodward and Eva Sadler went down 25-16.
This gave Narrabri an overall win by one point, the score reading 38-37.
