The 2019 Senior and Junior Narrabri Showgirl quest winners were announced at the official opening of the Show on Friday night.
Elsie McClenaghan was named Senior Showgirl and Sara Charles is the Junior Showgirl.
The audience at the Showgirl announcement applauded the five entrants, their poise and maturity and their community spirit.
Show president Cheryl Pawley praised the entrants, and their contribution to the Show. They were all busy over the Show weekend.
“We are so proud of the Showgirl entrants and we would like to see them engaged with the community throughout the year,” Ms Pawley said.
“We need to ensure these young women, who want to grow in the community and are keen to be involved are given the opportunity. They need to be part of things in the community through the year.”
