Lorraine Scott, Dawn Armstrong, Marie Redman and Denise Wall are the 2019 Narrabri ladies’ bowls Club Fours champions.
The ladies took on Janet Coleman, Di Chessells, Helen Woodward and Gail Panton on Sunday afternoon in what was a thrilling final, decided by just one shot and half an inch.
Panton’s team led 10-8 on the eighth end before Scott’s team scored nine points to one over the next four ends to lead 21-12.
Panton’s team then remarkably scored 10 points over the next three ends to take the lead 22-21.
With one end to go the score was locked 25-all.
Panton’s team held two points on the last end.
Scott then delivered a great bowl to hit the jack out of bounds and kill the end.
