The Narrabri Rugby Club first starting team which defeated Quirindi 66-5 in a Dangar Park night match under lights on Saturday night – back, Jydon Hill, Luke Tuckey, Jake Packer, Connor Parkes, James Albert, Jack Maunder, Matt McDonnell, front, Sam Knight, Jacob Nichols, Joe Maunder, Will Turner, Ben Maunder, Michael Cain and Mitch Clifton.

The Blue Boars first grade had an outstanding performance on Saturday night, demolishing the Quirindi Lions.

Dangar park hosted the night and saw the reserve grade and Woman’s sevens also pick up huge wins in front of a roaring home crowd.

The first grade never trailed in its match, scoring within four minutes and piling on 42 first half points.

Strong defence forced errors and only allowed one try in the first half.

In the second half Qurindi could not find the line as Narrabri kept the Lions pointless.

The Blue Boars put on another 24 points to blow the game out to a whopping 61 point margin.

In the Woman’s sevens the team had its seventh and eighth win in a row.

A ten point win in their opening game shaped up the second of the night to be as intense.

In the second match however, the Blue Boars smashed the Lions winning 34-0 in an emphatic statement.

The reserve grade also performed well for the large crowd.

The Blue Boars piled on a monster 12 tries enjoying an incredible 72-5 win.

The Blue Boars under-19s were defeated by the Tamworth Pirates 43-12.
