Narrabri Netball Association hosted round seven of the 2019 winter competition at the Bev Burrows Courts on Saturday.

The Narrabri Pharmacy Flamingos scored a significant win in the A-grade competition, downing the Blue Diamonds in a top-of-the-table clash.

Blue Diamonds entered round seven undefeated having won all of their first six games, but the Flamingos ended that streak with a 41-33 victory.

The Flamingos had won five of their first six games so were two points behind the Blue Diamonds heading into Saturday’s highly-anticipated game.

The victory saw the Flamingos move to the top of the table.

Like the Blue Diamonds, the Flamingos are on 12 competition points, but the round seven winners boast a superior percentage which saw them climb to the top.

There were two other A-grade games played on Saturday.

Not So Swift downed NWC 44-24, and RSL Babes defeated Golfie Grubs 34-14.

A fourth match was scheduled but did not go ahead after Tatts Hotel forfeited to Fever.

In B-grade the two Wee Waa teams scored comfortable wins as the Flames outscored Flaming Babies 47-2, and the Lightning beat Waisted Potential 31-20.

In the other two B-grade matches played first-placed Shazza’s Sharks defeated Vicious Delicious 70-15, and Electric Chicks beat The Chickies 41-15.
