Helen Woodward and Val Falkiner are the lady bowls Club Pairs champions for 2019.

Woodward and Falkiner defeated Dawn Armstrong and Eva Sadler in a very close game on Saturday morning.

Armstrong and Sadler led 7-6 on the sixth end.

By the 13th end the score was 11-all.

Woodward and Falkiner then scored seven points to two on the last five ends to win the game and championship 18-13.

The Club Triples will commence this Thursday with one match, and there will be three played on Saturday.
