The Narrabri Polocrosse Club hosted its carnival from Friday to Sunday.

The carnival was held at the club’s home ground, the Narrabri Racecourse.

It was headlined by three Trans-Tasman Junior Test Series matches between Australia and New Zealand, and it also hosted the junior challenge and the club’s regular carnival.

There were 80 teams in total which played across 150 matches throughout the weekend.

Cubbaroo took two senior teams to compete at the carnival which were joined by some junior and sub-junior players.

It was a successful weekend for the Cubbaroo club.

William Brodigan competed in the junior challenge in C-grade and was named the best boy number two in that division.

Cubbaroo One competed in the E-grade open competition and finished runners-up to Coffs Harbour.

Mitchell Brodigan was awarded best number one and best horse and rider combination in that division, and teammate Amelia Cruickshank picked up best number two.

Cubbaroo Polocrosse Club now looks forward to this weekend when it will host its annual carnival which is expected to attract 20-30 teams.
