On Sunday, September 1, Peter Lonergan was joined by his nephew Jeremy and friends from Narrabri Barry and Robin Ford and Pam and Matthew Turner at Shark Park.

The group watched on as the Cronulla Sharks took on the Canberra Raiders on Father’s Day.

The Raiders were winners on the day in a one-point thriller.

The Raiders won 15-14 with a golden point field goal.

In total five field goals were kicked throughout the game.

The trip to Cronulla was organised through Men of League which supplied the tickets to the game, the bus and the bus driver which was former Manly Sea Eagles player Bruce Walker.

Mr Ford said that Men of League ensured that the day was memorable for everyone and that he was grateful for a wonderful day.
