Narrabri Rotary Club screened a special premiere movie ‘Downton Abbey’ on Thursday night, attracting a capacity audience.
The hugely popular event saw audience members dress for the occasion in Downton-inspired dresses, suits and jewellery. The movie premiere was a fund raiser for the global battle against polio, a battle which is being won thanks to Rotary international’s Polio Plus program. Every dollar raised at the premiere attracted a $2 contribution from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
