Narrabri historian Richard Barry is not only a busy author he has long been an advocate for Vietnam War returned service people. In addition to other ongoing advocacy, Mr Barry has recently sent a 40 page submission to the Minister for Veterans Affairs seeking answers as to why 3,020 Vietnam War veterans have not been officially recognised for their service in that war with a Vietnam Campaign Medal.
