The Courier’s 2019 NRL Tipping Competition winners, Danny and Toni Laws, representing Turner Signs, winners of the Business House Challenge, and Margot Curtis, the winning reader tipster and her granddaughter Jamilla Korn, enjoyed a wonderful weekend in Sydney.

The tipsters stayed at the five star Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel in O’Connell Street, Sydney, and were upgraded courtesy of the hotel management.

The Radisson Blu is a sponsor of The Courier NRL tipping competition.

“It was just wonderful” said Margot.

“We were over the moon for the whole stay. The service, the attention, and of course the accommodation, down to the luxury towels, comfortable beds, wonderful breakfast. It was all beautifully done. The Radisson Blu is so central – we walked everywhere in the city centre. We did 11km one day, 10 another and five another. Fantastic.”

And the Grand Final did not disappoint.

“The atmosphere was electric and the entertainment was amazing. Eighty five percent of the crowd were Raiders fans – it was a sea of green. The horns were everywhere. Nearly everyone was going for the Raiders, except the die hard Rooster fans. Our seats were fantastic with a great view of all the action.”

The tipsters thanked The Courier and the Radisson Blu Hotel for making their weekend stay so special.
