Wee Waa’s Cotton Capital Music Muster weekend will go ahead ‘rain, hail or shine’.

Showers are forecast for Friday and Saturday, so organisers do have wet weather plans in place just in case mother nature finally delivers.

Muster organiser Kay Gray said in previous years the event has brought ‘welcome rain’, and this year attendees will be able to enjoy the protection of the new showground pavilion.

“We don’t mind if it rains again this year, the party will go on,” added Mrs Gray.

The weekend kicks off on Friday night, October 11 with a ‘fun, fancy and footloose’ cocktail party at the Wee Waa Showground.

“We’re inviting everyone to come and kick up their heels, last year was a fabulous night and we’re promising an even better evening this year,” said Cotton Cocktail evening organiser Ammi Russell.

Saturday morning there’s a cultural tour at Tulladunna Reserve before the Muster gates open – the market and food stalls start at 11am and the music at midday.

The fun continues on Sunday with ‘breakfast and ballads’ as well as the caravan Olympics.
