Firefighters and emergency services have been mobilised across NSW to fight the current outbreaks of bushfires.
Narrabri Fire and Rescue personnel Jason Anderson and Shane Bradford have recently been working at the Glen Innes Fire Control Centre, undertaking a five day rotational secondment, joining emergency services personnel from other towns and agencies – Forestry, NPWS, RFS, SES – in looking after logistics in the bushfire fighting work.
“We are tasked to do this when a major fire, a Section 44, is declared,” said Jason.
