Thumbs down – what a joke – since the introduction of residential water metering by Narrabri Shire Council in 2007 at 27cKL, some 12 years later the cost now stands at 105cKL. That’s a whopping 289 per cent increase over 12 years. On average our water cost increases just over 24 per cent per annum. The fact that wages and general economy has been stagnant for many years indicates local governments controlling non-contestable services and assets can get away with just about anything.

Thumbs down – the pigeons on the rooftop of a building in the middle block of the CBD are creating a huge mess. Their feathers are a nuisance as they blow into nearby businesses. FacebookTweetEmail
