The third round of the Narrabri Netball Association’s 2019 twilight mixed netball competition was contested at the Bev Burrows Courts last Thursday.


Goals came in abundance throughout the evening as several teams scored comfortable victories.

Pool A heavyweights Choc Chips was one of those big winners.

After scoring a 25-9 round one victory against Smarties, Choc Chips had the round two bye.

They returned in style in round three by outscoring opponents Eagles 29-8.

In the other two matches played in Pool A, Galaxy smashed Nets Get Physical 43-9, and How I Net Your Mother downed Smarties 23-4.

In Pool B there were some closer results as Westies defeated Mix It Up 16-13 and Blue Steelers overcame All Sorts 17-10, while in the biggest win in that pool in round three The Fraggles outscored Bluebirds 21-6.

In Pool C there were two four-point ball games as Untouchaballs beat Razzmatazz 16-12 and The Link Unk downed Ya Local Blokez 17-13, while Bri-Hards defeated The Rangers 13-7.

Both scheduled high school matches went ahead in round three as BDE cruised past All Stars 24-14, and the G Cool Speed Bumps beat FBS 16-7.

Only one of the two scheduled under-11/13 games was played which saw Hubba Bubbas edge out The Legends 5-4.

In the other game Crazy Critters forfeited to Rowdy Rockets.

In the under-9/10 competition the Narrabri Swifts scored a big win as they outscored Party Kidz 16-1, while Smarties downed Blue Thunder 11-4.

Fifteen matches are scheduled to be contested throughout the six competitions in round four this evening.
