Mobile phones will be banned from NSW public primary and secondary schools next year. Western Australia is introducing a phone ban which will be tougher – no phones all day including breaks – and no smart watches, ear buds, tablets or headphones unless they are for class work. School authorities said students were distracted by their phones and the ban will encourage personal conversations and reduce ‘cyber bullying.’
