So what has happened to our long awaited Bunnings development?
I read with interest in Thursday, November 28 edition of The Courier, that three blocks in the Northern Industrial Zone are up for sale.
Readers may remember that earlier in the year a Bunnings development was proposed for one of these lots.
So what has happened in the interim?
Could Narrabri Shire Council please inform the community via The Courier, what is the ‘state of the pole’ so to speak with regards to this much anticipated development.
I do hope that Bunnings has not taken its development application to a neighbouring town.
What a laughing stock that will make Narrabri look, in this time of economic and financial strain due to the ongoing drought.
I think of the many job opportunities a development of this size could have brought to our town.
