The local market continues to trade in the upper half of the large sideways range.
Interestingly the price of gold is trading in the lower half of the current pattern. Will the small bounces off support continue or will the weight of sellers force a breakdown in price? Time will tell.
Whitehaven Coal fell heavily on lower earnings guidance and we were stopped out.
We were also stopped out of Orocobre before prices recovered a little.
We sold Ecofibre after price moved below several possible support levels.
We bought a small parcel of Beach Energy after price moved up out of some recent congestion.
South32 is showing a nice trading pattern on both a daily and weekly chart which is close to a possible buying point.
Select Harvests has shown some strong price movement after some good earnings results and we will add some to the educational portfolio.
Pact Group could be forming an interesting bottoming pattern.
