A successful fundraiser to support Robert ‘Frog’ McInnes was held at the Wilga Hotel on Saturday, December 21.
“Following the event on Saturday at the Wilga Hotel that many were involved in organising, I feel strongly the need to thank our sponsors, all local businesses suffering the effects of drought and the decline in income of small towns” said one of the organisers, John Searle in a letter to The Courier.
“I also thank the large crowd which gathered and dug deep for what I think was a fun day for everyone with a large sum of money raised. This goes to show the community we live in is still strong and ready to stand up and be counted when asked.
“Finally I know we all wish ‘Frog’ McInnes, Ros and family all the best for the year ahead.”
