Neil Brayshaw will coach local soccer side Narrabri FC for a third consecutive season in 2020 in the side’s quest for grand final glory.

Narrabri FC finished first on the Namoi Soccer League ladder in seasons 2017, 2018 and 2019, and went on to win the major semi-final and host the grand final on all three occasions.

However, three years in a row the team has been upstaged in the biggest game of the year.

Brayshaw coached Narrabri FC in the 2018 and 2019 campaigns and is determined to guide the team back to grand final day and prepare it to finally get the job done.

Narrabri FC’s committee remained almost unchanged for the 2020 season.

At Tuesday night’s annual general meeting Steve Lubke was re-elected as president and Matt Dunn (vice-president), Blake Jarrett (secretary) and Rose Lubke (treasurer) accepted the roles they occupied in 2019.

One change for Narrabri FC for this season was the decision not to enter the FFA Cup.

The side will instead nominate to enter the Johnson Cup, a Northern Inland Football pre-season tournament in Tamworth on Sunday, April 5.

Narrabri FC will begin pre-season training on Monday evening.
