A man has fallen about 13 metres from the roof of a shed, near Narrabri.

In a statement, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service said it responded to a property east of Narrabri at 930am this morning following a report that a man had fallen from a hay shed.

“A 50 -year-old male had been re-sheeting a large hay shed and has apparently fallen possibly 13 metres from the roof,” read the statement.

NSW Paramedics and the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team treated the man for back injuries and stabilised him for a direct flight to Royal North Shore Hospital, in Sydney.

The WRHS statement said, ”The man is in a stable condition with possible spinal injuries.”
