A freakish weather event has been captured 30 kilometres east of Moree during yesterday’s welcome storm.
A tornado funnel cloud and the subsequent touchdown occurred on Thursday afternoon.

The images were captured by Tony Boughton on property ‘Cheecomb’ which is located on Terry Hie Hie road.
As well as the incredible storm the low-pressure system brought 50 mls of rain to the property.
