Thumbs up – I would like to offer my congratulations to the Narrabri Shire Council for not charging an entry fee for the pool during the holidays. Over the past five years I have been returning home during the Christmas holidays and using these excellent facilities with my mother four to five times a week. We have at times been concerned to see the pool under utilised. This year it has been great to see so many people enjoying the facilities, especially families with young children. The aquatic centre is an excellent resource. It played a strong historical role in the town, has a modern present day design and hopefully a bright future providing a quality service for all shire residents for years to come. Well done council members on a community based decision.

Thumbs down – the pigeons on the rooftop of a building in the middle block of the CBD are creating a huge mess. Their feathers are a nuisance as they blow into nearby businesses. FacebookTweetEmail
