The Courier’s Boggabri corespondent Noreen Boehm covered Australia Day at the Boggabri pool. “There was a funny moment,” Noreen said. “When I arrived at the pool a little girl came running over singing out ‘camera lady, camera lady’, and she said, ‘you won’t be able to take the winner’s photo today!’ When I asked why, she said ‘I can’t swim.’ She had fallen off a horse on Thursday, broken her arm and has pins in her arm and a plaster cast.”
