Wee Waa greyhound trainer Colin Anderson was a winner on Sunday night when Chance Amelia raced to victory at a Gunnedah TAB meeting.

Three-year-old bitch Chance Amelia jumped from the number three box and established an early lead in the GBOTA Branch Fifth Grade Series heat.

She maintained that lead and won the 431-metre race to earn the $1500 top prizemoney.

Also in action in that race was Talmage, owned by Narrabri trainer Robert Hobson.

Talmage finished fourth, six lengths behind Chance Amelia, after starting the race from box seven.

Earlier in the evening an Anderson-trained dog raced to a top three finish.

That was three-year-old dog Oliver’s Mate which jumped from box seven in the second race of the evening.

He placed third, three lengths behind the winner of the 431-metre race, to earn $190 in prizemoney.

In the 10th race of the night Hobson’s Rosa’s Revenge also raced to a third-placed finish.

Rosa’s Revenge started that 340-metre race from box three and the four-year-old finished 10 lengths behind the winner.

Also involved in that race was Wee Waa trainer Timothy Anderson’s Elite Force which started from box four and finished fourth, less than a length behind Rosa’s Revenge.
