A woman who pleaded guilty to negligent driving occasioning death and negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm in relation to a car crash near Boggabri, in 2018, was sentenced in Parramatta District Court on Friday.
Young Narrabri man, Toby Linehan was tragically killed in the crash on the Kamilaroi Highway, on April 2, 2018 and four other people were injured.
The woman was given a 16-month intensive correction order, 150 hours community service and her licence was disqualified for three years from April 2018.
An intensive correction order is a term of imprisonment but is served out in the community rather than in jail.
