The 2019-20 Narrabri District Cricket Association first and second grade competition grand final day was held on Saturday, March 14, just before the COVID-19 pandemic forced mass cancellations of sport in the shire.

The first grade contest was played at Collins Park between minor premiers and defending champions Tatts and third-placed Western Imperial Razorbacks.

In that game Tatts skipper Tom Craig won the toss and he decided that his team would bat first.

It scored 108 runs before losing its final wicket in the 42nd over.

Number three batsman Craig Gleeson led the way for Tatts with a game-best 28 runs.

Gleeson then backed that up with a team-best 3-16 from six overs with the ball as Tatts restricted the Razorbacks to 82 runs before Craig took the winning wicket in the 37th over.

The second grade grand final was played at Hogan Oval between minor premiers and defending champions RSL which took on third-placed Tatts.

In that game Tatts batted first and scored 100 runs before losing its final wicket in the 38th over.

RSL’s Will Ford took a team-best 3-15 from 7.5 overs with the ball.
