Prime Minister Scott Morrison addressed parliament with a ministerial statement at the House of Representatives this morning.

The PM highlighted the government’s efforts in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic including the JobKeeper package.

“As of yesterday afternoon over 700,000 businesses have registered for this support and this number continues to grow,” said Prime Minister Morrison.

“Managing our workforce is a critical part of keeping the economy going.”

The JobKeeper wage subsidy package will be put before the parliament today.
