There is a reason why there will always be moonlight at Easter. Easter will never fall on a fixed date, the reason being that the date for Easter always occurs on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the Autumn equinox, with the Equinox falling on or close to March 21. Of course, in the Northern Hemisphere it is the Spring Equinox. The Equinox is the time when daylight and night hours are equal and for us signals winter’s approach. This year the full moon was April 8. But however it is calculated, Easter wouldn’t be Easter without a full moon.
