The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service has released a statement reporting an ‘urgent medical retrieval’ from Narrabri Hospital to Tamworth Base Hospital earlier this morning.
“The Helicopter Critical Care Medical team was flown to the 75-year-old male patient at 9am,” read the statement.
The patient was stabilised and airlifted back to TBH suffering a serious medical condition where he will undergo further ongoing treatment.
