Slade Tribe a finalist in Training Awards

Kogil Street Pre-school trainee Slade Tribe, who recently completed her Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, has been named as a finalist in the NSW Training awards.

The NSW Training Awards are conducted annually by Training Services NSW to recognise outstanding achievement in the vocational
education and training sector.

“The Awards honour and reward the achievements of students in a variety of categories,” Kogil Street Pre school director Heidi Harper said.

“Slade, who was nominated by her trainer from the Early Childhood Training and Resource Centre, has successfully worked her way through the process which has involved submitting written answers to numerous questions around training as well as a nerve-wracking interview.

“Slade has worked at Kogil Street Preschool for two years and is a very valued member of our team.

“We wish Slade well with the next step in the process, however she is already a winner in our eyes,” said Ms Harper.
