‘Thanks for courtesy in COVID crisis’

Narrabri enjoys a reputation as the ‘friendly town’ and the Coles Narrabri team has offered thanks to the supermarket’s customers for friendly courtesy and co-operation in the COVID-19 crisis.

“We just wanted to say ‘thanks’ to our great customers for their consideration during this difficult time,” the Coles team said.

“We appreciate the community spirit everyone shows.

“It has been stressful, but customers have been very considerate as we work to make sure the shelves are kept stocked and service is maintained as normal.

“The in-store support and compliments have been lovely.

“People have been fantastic. The girls from one of the banks even came down and gave each staff member a flower to say that they as customers appreciated the service and civility in tough times.”

Manager Jamie Cook thanked customers for making a difficult time manageable.

“Like other supermarkets we employed security staff early on – but there were no incidents at all.”
