Talent finds expression in all mediums. Narrabri Craft Shop Gallery is currently staging its Winter Exhibition and real creativity is on display in the artworks and crocheted and knitted pieces which are imaginative, vibrant colourful – and no doubt warm. A visitor entering the gallery will find some fantastic exhibits, and a welcome from the gallery personnel – Devonshire morning teas were served on Saturday at the launch of the Winter Exhibition which is running for the next few months. The exhibit pictured below, is titled ‘After the Opening’, a whimsical, yet evocative, take on an exhibition launch. A visitor commented (perhaps tongue in cheek) that ‘the static display of empty wine bottles led the viewer to explore the subtext, and be contemplative of the activity of which the silent witnesses had been part’. Each viewer, of course brings his or her interpretation to art.
