If you’re looking for a fun, creative and relaxing release after COVID-19 lockdown then Wee Waa has just the activity for you – a charcoal drawing workshop is due to be held at the beautiful Rose Street Gardens.

The Wee Waa Arts and Cultural Centre committee is inviting community members to explore the possibilities of charcoal at the workshop on Saturday July 18.

Artist Gerda Vogel will be running the workshop and said people of all artistic abilities are welcome to come along for an enjoyable morning of creativity.

“People might be interested in charcoal but have never tried it.

“I encourage people to come and discover their potential.

“You just need to have the wish to do it and the wish to learn.”

Gerda said attendees will learn how to manipulate charcoal and get the best results.

Many artists create a charcoal drawing before committing to paint.

The charcoal drawing workshop will be held in a cosy and heated cottage at the Rose Street Gardens.

Bookings are essential, phone Gerda Vogel on 0428 831 381 or see Classifieds for more details.
