The long awaited decision on the future of the Narrabri Gas Project, due to be announced by the Independent Planning Commission by September 4, has been delayed by the IPC until September 30.
The IPC said in a statement on Friday that the complexity of the issue and high level of public interest warranted the extension of the determination date.
