Narrabri’s three cricket clubs have all held their annual general meetings where captains were announced ahead of the 2020-21 Narrabri District Cricket Association season.

Two clubs have named new first grade captains after their former captains decided to step down from the respective positions.

Tatts has appointed Ryan O’Neill as its first grade skipper, replacing Tom Craig, while RSL’s new first grade captain is Jarrett Tough who replaces Mick Dowdell.

Civeo Crossroads Cricket Club’s first grade team will again be co-captained by Lachlan Cameron and Luke Meppem.

In second grade RSL will be captained by Jason Trindall once again.

Tatts will be co-captained by Bill Wood and Michael Hewett and Civeo-Crossroads Cricket Club’s teams will be co-captained by Kaleb Mowle and Jake Thurston (Civeo) and Luke Baker and Tim Hayne (Crossroads).

Wee Waa-based Club Western Imperial Razorbacks has not yet held an annual general meeting, nor has it announced captains for the 2020-21 season.

The club will play in the NDCA competition for a third consecutive season in 2020-21 once again fielding two teams.

The NDCA will host its annual general meeting tonight.
