Narrabri was host of the latest instalment of the NSW Super Series UTR Event on Sunday at the Dangar Park Tennis Centre.

The day’s play attracted 33 participants across three divisions.

Narrabri Tennis was represented by 14 athletes who all took to the courts to develop their matchplay and gain valuable UTR points.

Narrabri Tennis head coach Shane Murphy congratulated all the players who competed on the day, taking the step from playing one set matches to playing the best of three set matches in warm conditions.

Narrabri Tennis athletes’ results from the day are as follows:

10-years-and-under:
Charlie Butler – four wins from four matches, Charlie Johnstone – one win from four matches, Ella Ratcliffe – no wins from four matches, Billy Johnstone – four wins from four matches, Sophie Hartnett three wins from four matches, Lincoln Cecil no wins from four matches.

14-years-and-under:
Ava Garbutt – one win from three matches, Alistair Dowdell – no wins from three matches, Lily Campbell – two wins from three matches, Kate Leitch – one win from three matches, Cooper Butler – two wins from four matches, Jack Hartnett one win from four matches, Callum Wales no wins from four matches, George Bennett one win from four matches.

Narrabri Tennis now looks towards a Head Series event in Narrabri on Saturday and Sunday, October 10 and 11, which will see both senior and junior players compete across singles and doubles competitions.
